Ananda Joti Kaur is a spiritual name that was given to me meaning "sacred princess/lioness whose blissful soul is filled with God’s divine light.”
I completed my Kundalini Teacher Training at the Awareness Center in Pasadena, California in 2019. In my previous life, I was a RN, trauma nurse, flight nurse, M.Ed and Mom. When I retired I was suffering from “PMS” -- I was Physically injured, Mentally unfocused, and Spiritually unaware. I am now a local to San Pedro, and in my homecoming as a Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Recovery Dharma Facilitator, and Director of Nursing at a Home Health Agency.
My teacher at the Awareness Center once said, “The profound experience of a Kundalini Yoga class will create change in your life. Understanding what you are going through can help you process these feelings and sensations and understand more about how it all fits together."
I believe that each one of us possesses a divine reservoir of kundalini energy. Most barely tap into this power source throughout their entire lives. Kundalini Yoga first prepares our nervous system to handle the increased energy, and then the practice brings this energy up the spine to elevate our body, mind, and spirit.
My teacher’s teacher also stated, “If you want to learn something, read about it. If you want to understand something write about it. If you want to master something, teach it.” Simply put, I am a student of awareness who is on a journey to master something, and so begins my mastery through the teachings of Kundalini Yoga.
