Our Classes
Find the Practice That Meets You
At Holō, our classes are as unique as the teachers who lead them—shaped by the teacher’s own experience, training, and perspective. No two classes are exactly the same. If you’re new or just exploring, we’ve provided simple descriptions of our regular offerings to help you find a place to begin.
Our recommendation: There’s no “right” place to start, only a place to begin.
-
A practice of breath, mantra, movement, and meditation.
We chant (yes, really), move energy, and work with awareness in a more subtle but powerful way. Each offering may feel different, but the intention is the same: to shift, to awaken, and to return to yourself.Pace: All levels depending on the kriya and intention.
-
A fluid, movement-based practice woven with intention, theme, or story.
“Katha” means story or tale—these classes invite you embody the story behind the poses to move with purpose, connection, and deep meaning. Stories from the Gita, Mahabharata, and ancient yogic texts that share the balance of flow, reflection, and subtle guidance to feel beyond the physical shapes.Pace: Think, Vinyasa…but with a story.
-
A more fluid, movement-based practice where breath and motion are linked.
Pace: May vary in intensity, but generally feel dynamic, energizing, and familiar to those who’ve experienced modern, Western yoga styles. -
A steady, intentional practice that balances softness and strength.
You’ll move with awareness, spend more time in each posture, and build a deeper connection to the intended alignment, breath, and presence that embody the asana.Pace: All Levels.
-
A slower, more introspective practice with longer-held postures.
Designed to gently stress connective tissues and invite stillness, Yin creates space in both the body and mind.Pace: Low to the ground, slow; fewer poses with longer holds.
-
A deeply constructive restfing practice using props to fully support the body.
Pace: Little to no effort is required—this is a space to slow down, reset the nervous system, and simply receive. -
A meditative experience using sound and vibration to support relaxation and awareness.
General Outline: You’ll be guided into stillness or restorative flows while instruments and frequencies do the work of helping your body settle and your mind soften. -
Classes led by teachers who are mindful of and comfortable supporting prenatal and postpartum bodies.
While not specific prenatal classes, options and guidance are offered so you can practice safely and intuitively through different stages. Look for Prenatal Conscious in the description. -
Some classes blend elements from multiple styles—movement, stillness, breathwork, meditation, or sound.
These offerings are often reflective of the teacher’s personal practice and are designed to create a more layered, holistic experience.
