Nancy Poole

Nancy Poole, affectionately known as Nance, is an E-RYT200, RPYT, & YACEP, Chair Yoga certified, Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and entrepreneur. Nance is continuing her yogic journey through the Yoga Therapy Program with SOY Institute in Encinitas, CA so that she can deepen her knowledge and expand her practice as a yoga therapist (completion 2027).

Whether she knew it then or not, after Nance graduated from UCLA and obtained her pre-medicine post-baccalaureate at CDU, she began her lifelong journey of promoting yoga therapy as a powerful adjunct alongside conventional treatments for every individual. Her goals have always been to view yoga as a support for the body and mind, alongside whatever healing path students may already be on.

Melody Yoko Reilly

Trained in Ananda Yoga at the Expanding Light Retreat Center in Nevada, California, Melody’s studies have focused on yogic philosophy and spiritual awakening. With a background in competitive gymnastics, cheerleading, and dance, she really enjoyed the movement and precision of each of the poses through yoga. Being immersed in prayer, meditation, chanting, yoga, mindfulness, and gratitude, has allowed Melody to heal on all levels. Combining her love of freely expressing through the body and compassion, Melody teaches yoga to expand the mind beyond all form into experiencing our eternal state of being.

Jan Scott

As a yogini for nearly two decades, Jan feels extremely fortunate to practice and study under exceptional legacy teachers and will always be a student aspiring to live off the mat. Teaching deepens her practice when sharing sacred space and shared intention with a yogic community. Jan is a E-RYT 200 and Spiritual Bathing practitioner, having studied extensively in Belize at the home of renowned Mayan healer, Dr. Rosita Arvigo, along with other indigenous bathing ritual teachers of the world.

She is an avid hiker, lover of poetry, sacred moon studies, forest bathing and passionate about leading international yoga retreats.

Ananda Joti Kaur

Ananda Joti Kaur is a spiritual name meaning "sacred princess/lioness whose blissful soul is filled with God’s divine light.”

Ananda completed her Kundalini Teacher Training at the Awareness Center in Pasadena, California in 2019. Ananda has lived many lives: she was a trauma nurse, flight nurse, M.Ed and Mom. When she retired, Ananda sustained various injuries, mental and spiritual losses. Now a local to San Pedro, Ananda is in her homecoming as a Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Recovery Dharma Facilitator, and Director of Nursing at a Home Health Agency.

Roxanne Murillo

Roxanne is a RYT-200 who has been actively practicing yoga for over 10 years.

Like many people, she had turned to yoga to help her process stress in work and life. In 2019, she completed her 200-hour YTT and has enjoyed teaching classes of all levels ever since.

Her teaching focus is combining alignment with breath to guide an intentional flow. She strongly encourages breathwork throughout flow because it allows for mental and physical release, and then breakthrough with more challenging flows. However, her ultimate focus is reminding everyone to smile, enjoy their practice, and be grateful for the movement they made time for that day.

Nicole Toscano

Meet Nicole Toscano! A wife, Ma of 3, and a local beach girl from the South Bay. Nicole works part time as a dreadlock artist and wine broker!

Nicole began her yoga journey in 2018 and soon became certified in 2019. Yoga is her true medicine for chronic pain and she loves to practice breathwork, even while driving in her car. When she is not too busy with mom life, you can find Nicole at the river, reading, enjoying a glass of champagne and dancing! Forever Teacher, Forever Student.

Lila Lee

Lila was born in Poland and made her way to California in 2007. After 10 years of competitive ballroom dancing she was drawn to yoga by its physical aspects and found a true passion for yoga upon taking Ashtanga classes.

She continues to stay committed to her growth as a teacher and a student and now holds a 500 RYT certification. 

Lila finds an immediate connection with her students and loves sharing her passion for yoga with others. On and off the mat Lila is learning how to be gentle, compassionate, kind and caring not only with others, but also with herself.

Adam Sandiland

Adam (aka Sandy) is a dear friend and ally in the ever-changing landscape of the yoga world. He carries a supportive presence both on and off the yoga mat, teaching strong sequences with a balanced space of softness for yin, restorative, and gentle sides of yoga.

Andrea Morales

Andrea is a RYT500 instructor and sound practitioner who loves to dedicate time to deepening her yoga studies and crafting thoughtful classes.

As a yoga teacher, Andrea’s intention is to create a safe and supportive environment that honors the unique journey of every individual.
