Nancy Poole (aka Nance) is a E-RYT200, RPYT, & YACEP, Chair Yoga certified, Kundalini Yoga Teacher in training, and entrepreneur. She teaches uplifting and supportive yoga classes with a lighthearted and fun spirit. Nance has been teaching all levels of Hatha Yoga since 2020. She also guides Prenatal & Postpartum, Vinyasa, Meditation, Sound Healing, Yin, and Restorative practices on top of a variety of asana and wellness workshops and retreats to incorporate alignment, flexibility, strength, and—most importantly—preparing the body to compassionately meet the whole Self. Since becoming a mother, Nance has found immense clarity, ease, and compassion for how she navigates her true Self with her family, her community, and the space she holds as a teacher through Kundalini Yoga. This inspired her to fully immerse herself into the 200-Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training with The Soul of Yoga Institute in Encinitas, CA.
Nance never forgets her humble beginnings. To survive, her parents were plucked from their home country and had to "start over" in the aftermaths of the Vietnam War. As a young girl, the adversities Nance and her family faced instilled a strong sense of purpose to help those who cannot help themselves. When Nance graduated from UCLA and then obtained her pre-medicine post-bacc at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine & Science, she believed she found a passion in healthcare as she climbed the corporate ladder to build over a decade of experience. However, she was still feeling unsettled and burnout. Nance began to reflect on the time she discovered yoga in 2006 as a form of healing against bullying, low self-esteem, stress, and depression. With pure intentions in her heart, Nance left her corporate directorship to build The Holō Collective--a safe and collaborative space for wellness that is inspired by the yoga practice and the community it invites.
Nance is constantly striving to cultivate a welcoming and authentic space, physically, energetically, and spiritually. She loves getting to know people at all stages of life and meets them where they are. This is a value she hopes to instill in her son, Ace. Nance's primary love language is quality time. Her other love language is laughter.
Nance loves to travel. She dabbles in photography (an amateur), digital art, and baking.
